The Rainbow body

BY ROSANNA MARTELLA

We are the children of light

The human body is not only physical and visible; there is a part of it that it is not easily visible and it is called the Energy body, the Aura, the Subtle body or the Ethereal body.

It is this energy field around our body that vibrates and connects us to all there is in the world.

With the right training we can learn to see it with our physical eye.  This subtle energy body is made of different layers; each layer is similar to the physical body to which it is connected by the chakras or energy centers and the nerves system.

The chakras are energy points which receive and transmit life force energy in a spiral manner. The function of our chacras are to keep our mental, spiritual and physical body in balance by receiving and sending energy (Prana) while spinning.Each chakra corrispond to a different color. Along with colors, each chakra point has it’s own sound (or frequency) associated with it. Colors, crystals and sound can all be used to stimulate, clean and realign the chacras.

The energy body and the chakras are also connected to the Nadis or energy channels that run along the physical body.  Chakra are the “organs” of our energy body, just as the organs of our physical body, we have luminous organs which are vertexes of energy that spin, are shaped like funnels, energetic centers which absorb, digest and distribute energy. The physical and the energy body are closely related, to the point that when something happens to the one, the other is effected also.

There is a law of correspondence between the two bodies: disease manifests itself in the energy body before it appears on the physical body; When we heal the energy body, the physical body gets healed in the process.

A disease can be seen in the energy body of a person, by a clairvoyant, before it manifests itself in the physical body.  The physical body is molded out of the energy body.  It is like the energy body comes first and then the physical body materializes.  This can be demonstrated by persons that lose a limb or an organ.  At times, that person feels like the limb or organ is still there.  That is because in fact the energy body retains the form of that missing part. This is also true for a removed internal organ ( i.e. spleen, gall bladder).  The body continues to function because the Aura has the energy and form of the missing part.

The energy body is connected to the nadis, a grid of lines in the physical body also called meridians, which are connected to the energy centers called chakras.  The chakras are funnel like, colorful, spinning wheels attached to the spinal column by their rut, which is the small tube of the funnel. The chakras’ fuel is cosmic energy also called in Chinese “ki” “chi” or “qi” (or “prana” in Sanskrit). The chakras radiate and receive this energy constantly and keep our mental, spiritual and physical body in balance.

The Chakras’ energy centers are a very important part of the energy body. They are whirling energy centers that radiate, vibrate and receive cosmic energy constantly and are responsible for the proper functioning of the whole body by controlling and energizing the major and vital organs of the physical body.

The Chakras are transfer points for our thoughts, emotions and physical functions of specific endocrine glands.

The endocrine glands secrete hormones directly into the bloodstream and also interact with the other glands of our body. The hormones they secrete are responsible for determining the forms of our body and the working of our mind. Each of the glands need to be stimulated and exercised on the regular basis in order to promote optimal health.

When we are balanced and acquire self discipline, our chakras pulsate with light.  When our emotions are blocked, they become dull and sluggish.  When we are open-minded, we are like sponges absorbing the energy field of the universe around us.  As we absorb the prana we increase the energy that is flowing through us and we feel strong and happy.

When we have a trauma this causes an imprint in the Human Aura in a form of a “blue print” that becomes encoded in our field. This imprint has a charge that it is carried like a cocoon that becomes a permanent fixture if the trauma doesn’t get resolved and let go. This charge contains energy but also information about circumstances around the original wounding. Whenever this imprint gets triggered that information gets spilled out into our chakras  and takes over our central nervous system, and recreate the circumstances of the original wounding again and again.

When we hold negative thoughts, the chakras slow down and become dirty with dense dark energy.  When this happens we feel sluggish and out of balance, because the chakras cannot vibrate at the right frequency and freely push through this heavy energy.

The chakras are connected to the meridians that are the channels where the “Ki” or electromagnetic energy of the body travel: our nervous system. On the meridians we find the acupuncture points described in ancient Chinese medicine. The meridians are also connected to the organs.

In many books about this subject, it is told that there are 7 major chakras but others say 9 or 11 or even 14 major chakras. There are also many more minor chakras throughout the body.  Among the minor chakras, the ones that every human being uses most are the hands chakras.  In fact if we hurt our selves, we immediately go to the painful part with our hands and most of the time the pain goes away. We do this act without knowing why it works, but the reason is that the chackras of a healthy person are very powerful energy centers.

For millennia, the major religious books have written about healing with the hands.

The seven major chakras are:

BASIC, SEX, SOLAR PLEXUS, HEART, THROAT, AJNA, CROWN

The First, second and third chakras are related to the creative processes and emotions.

In the center there is the Fourth Chakra which is the bigger chakra: the Heart Chakra associated with love.

The Fifth, Six and Seven Chakras  are related to the though and the logic processes of the mind

THE FIRST CHAKRA

Basic Chakra or Root Chakra

The basic chakra is located at the base of the spine, at the coccyx. Is also called the root chakra because it connects us to mother Earth and represents the “grounding” of the being to the material world.

The first chakra connects us to the femminive and the Earth energy.  Is the connection to mother Nature, the mother that never lives us. This chakra, which puts us in touch with the physical world, is related to issues of survival and self preservation, fulfillment of our physical needs for food and shelter. Concerns are safety and security. Because here now we are growing more concern of never having enough and never have enough security, we have lost the connection with Nature and that Mother that never lives us, These are themes that we can heal by reestablishing our connection to the Earth. She provides all that we need, so we live in abundance. Fear is associated with insecurity and death.

This center corresponds to the Adrenal and Gonads glands.

Basic
The color is read, the same color that comes from the inner core of our planet.

The basic chakra is the foundation for the higher chakras and it is the source of  life force. This is the seat of the main energy force of the body, it is here that we can access the Kundalini energy, and it is here that we access Sushumna, Ida and Pingala which are the three main energy channels of the body.

This is the seat of the collective sub-conscious, and it is here that it becomes accessible.

This chakra needs to be harmonious with the other chakras but mostly with the seventh chakra in order to maintain the balance of the body.

THE SECOND CHAKRA

The Sex Chakra

It is related to procreation, material achievements, power seeking behavior and attitude. This chakra is associated not only with the gonads glands, but also to the prostate/ovaries, bladder, sacrum, and lower back.

sex
Our interpersonal relationships, especially those with the opposite sex, are influenced by the functions of the second chakra.

When the functioning of this chakra is harmonious, we open ourselves toward others – especially people of the opposite sex, and behave naturally. We feel the flow of creative life energy streaming through our body, soul and mind.

THE THIRD CHAKRA

Solar Plexus

This chakra is located below the diaphragm and corresponds to the Pancreas.

The functioning of this chakra is highly complex; the element of fire is assigned to it.  It represents our inner sun, our power center and it is fiery red.

Is associated to how the world perceive us, how we are able to express ourselves and manifest ourself in the world.

Solar Plexus
This is the center for individual strength, vitality, self empowerment, ability to get things done, will power, desire for identification, recognition, concentration, action (fire), and metabolism. This is the part of our body from which our emotions radiate, and determines the expression of the individual and the need to gain.

When this chakra is harmonious, we have feelings of peace, we can accept our self completely and also respect the feelings of others.

THE FOURTH CHAKRA

The Heart Chakra

This chakra is the larger chakra.  It is located at the heart region and is associated to the thymus gland, which controls the lymphatic system.

It represents the air it is colorless, gray or smoky green.  It radiates in pink color and sometimes in gold.  It vibrates the spiritual heart, and it is associated with the higher emotions , whit love , with freedom, with intimacy and to the sense of touch.

This chakra relates to the desire of self confidence, balance and devotion.  It gives patience, love, and calm. It is the seat of the Self in waking and dream states.

Heart
The heart chakra is the center of the entire chakra system.  When this chakra vibrates at the right frequency, all the other chakras align and the entire body is balanced and it channels Divine Love.

The purpose of this chakra is to achieve union through love.

THE FIFTH CHAKRA

The Throat Chakra

This Chakra is located in the neck region and is associated with the thyroid gland.

Other parts of the body the throat chakra is associated with are the neck, the jaw and the throat, ears, trachea, voice, bronchial tubes, esophagus upper lungs, and arms.

The color is pale blue or green blue.

Throat
It is the center of the human capacity for communication, expression and inspiration.  When this chakra is dominant, we tend to combine simple living with high thinking.

The fifth chakra is the center of the human capacity of expression. The more we develop the throat chakra the more we become conscious of our mental body and we distinguish between the emotions and the mind, so we can listen better to our inner and outer space.Is the chakra that express our dreams in the world. This place provided by the 5th chakra is fueled by the 3rd chakra to achieve our dreams in the world, to have the world respond to us in a creative and positive way.

The purpose of the fifth chakra is to make us find our own individual expression of perfection on all levels of being.

THE SIXTH CHAKRA

The Third Eye Chakra

This chakra it’ s placed in the space between our eyebrows, it is the seat of intuition and it is associated with the pineal gland which is located at the center of our brain. It controls the energies of the brain and the entire body. It is connected to the Pyneal gland.

The Pineal gland is a photosensitive organ connected to the eye trough a nerve, and it is directly connected to our central nervous system.

Mind
The hormone called Melatonin is secreted by the pineal gland during the night only in the absence of light; this process helps us to sleep. The hormone also has a role in sexual function and energy levels

This chakra is the seat of our higher mental power, our intellect, our memory, and our will. Is associated with the experience of personal divine, the awakened mind the ability to see into the hearth of things perceive the luminous connections with life.It is the fully awakened self.The individual hum is mature.

The color is indigo blue, but yellow and violet are also present.

We can see things with our third eye that we not necessarily see with our regular eyes.  It is associated with developing inner knowledge, which expands our intuition.  The ancient people considered the pineal gland as the seat of our soul.

It is possible to train our third eye to open and see more, if we hold our attention a little above the place between our eyebrows while meditating.

After practicing this for a while in our meditations, we would be able to “see” into the essence of things.

THE SEVENTH CHAKRA

The Crown Chakra

It is located at the top of our head in the soft spot of a new born baby where the skull plates come together.

It is associated with the pituitary gland.  This gland is located deep in the brain at the base of the hypothalamus, near the optic nerve.

The pituitary gland is also called the “master gland” because it directs and controls the functions of the other chakras and their corresponding endocrine glands.

The color is violet, white and gold but it glows in all the colors.

Crown
It is the seat of the highest human perfection and unites us with our higher self.  This chakra is associated with reaching enlightenment, and connect us to Heven.

 ~~~~We are made of Star stuff~~~~
Cat’s eye Nebula
At the still point of the turning world.
Neither flesh nor fleshless;
Neither from nor towards; at the still point, there the dance is,
But neither arrest nor movement.
And do not call it fixity,
Where past and future are gathered.
Neither movement from nor towards,
Neither ascent nor decline.
Except for the point, the still point,
There would be no dance,
and there is only the dance.
“The macrobiotic way of life recommended by the ancient wise people and practiced widely for physical, mental and spiritual development consists of the following arts; the way of eating, the way of breathing, and the way of daily life. Because a human being is part of his environment, and has evolved through biological development covering more than three billion years on this planet, his physical, mental and spiritual conditions are based upon what he consumes from his natural environment and his food. The way of eating is the most essential factor for his development.”
