Basmati Rice Pudding

Ingredients:

2 Cups Basmati Rice

½ cup of blanched almonds

4 cups of almond milk or rice milk

1 cup of water

¼ tsp of rose water

2/3 cup of rice syrup

¼ cup of pine nuts

½ cup of raisins

Saffron – for color

Preparation:

Cook rice with almond milk for 20 mins. Near end of cooking add sweetner and dried fruit, almonds and Saffron . Heat on low flame for 10 mins more.  Stir in rose water and garnish with pine nuts
