We are contaminating our immune system with proteins to which the human body has never, in all history of mankind, been previously exposed to. Gluten has in it 14 different proteins and we could be negatively effected by one or more of these proteins.
This substance is not a food, it is more of a glue (analyze the name). It is amazing that this glue, a non food, is contained in Wheat, but also in Semolina Barley, Oats, Cuscus, Kamut, Spelt, Rye, Corn, Graham flour, Matzo, Wheat germ, and Triticale. It is also present in 90% of processed foods and labeled with different names. The names are so deceiving that you don’t even know that the food you are eating contains gluten in it.
Some of the names on the labels are: natural flavoring, modified food starch, vegetable protein, flavoring, malt extract, malto-dextrin, yeast extract, hydrolyzed vegetable protein, food thickener, fermented grain extract, caramel colors, etc. It is also in canned products like canned beans, breaded foods, breakfast cereals, chocolate milk, cold cuts, egg substitute, energy bars, gravy, hot dogs, ketchup, mayonnaise, instant hot drinks, ice cream, fruit fillings and puddings, fried vegetable tempura, and more stuff is added to the list (by the prepared food companies) every day with new exotic names to deceive us.
The reason why we want our cookies and bread and donuts is because of the gluten’s incredible addictive properties. A brain on gluten is just like a brain on drugs. Yes, I discovered that gluten stimulates the Opium receptors in our brain. Yes, Gluten effects to our brains like taking Cocaine, Morphine, Heroine, or even prescription drugs like Percocet, Oxicondon and the like.
And we have a “war on drugs”?? Our daily bread acts just like a drug with devastating effects for our body.
